Nowadays, the Internet is very useful but you cannot do whatever you want on it. Do you know how it works? LET’S FIGURE IT OUT!



Who runs the Internet?

How is the Internet run?
Go on this site, then look for “Who runs the Internet” and give the abbreviation for Military, International and Government.

What is illegal to do online?
Click on “Principles” and search for “Establishment and Jurisdiction”

Give one country of each category: no censorship, some censorship, under surveillance and heavy censorship.
   

Give the three first blocked websites in the USA and the three first categories.
Go on the Google search engine, type “OPENDNS” and go on OPENDNS Internet Navigation and Security. Click on “About us”. Look for “see more announcement” and search for the article on March 31st 2008.

Why do you think those sites are blocked?

    Conclusion :
    I haven't been restricted yet and I think that if there exist its for something. Sure the pronography and all about racism have to be restrict.
